Question: What becomes possible when we stop treating queer justice, feminist liberation, labour rights, and climate action as separate battles and start building the unified movement our survival demands?
Answer: A comprehensive and promising approach to tackling the issues crucial to the survival of us all. On a macro-level, any approach to climate justice must include the Global South. On a micro-level, social injustice disproportionately affects vulnerable people without whom no global solution is possible. If we combine these macro and micro-levels, it quickly becomes clear that queer and feminist perspectives from Africa are uniquely placed to point the way forward.
